Speaker of the Executive Board

Martin Czaja, who joined BEOS AG in 2004, has been a member of the Executive Board since 2016 and Speaker of the Board since 2017. He is responsible for Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Digital Solutions, Marketing & Communication and Corporate Development. Having studied architecture in Hanover, Krakow, St. Petersburg and Delft, Martin Czaja spent two years as a consultant at Ernst & Young Real Estate GmbH in Munich and Berlin. At the same time, he completed a part-time Master’s degree in Real Estate Management (REM) at the TU Berlin. Since 2008, he has been a lecturer at the TU Berlin as part of the university’s REM master’s programme, focusing on project development and risk management.

Finance

Dr. Christoph Holzmann has been a member of the Management Board of BEOS AG since 2016 and is responsible for Financing, Accounting, Controlling, Investment & Taxes, Risk & Compliance and Business Analytics. Prior to joining the Executive Board of BEOS AG in 2016, he spent five years as the company’s Head of Finance. He had previously worked for two banks and a capital management company in the field of real estate investment banking, financing and special investment funds. Christoph Holzmann holds a degree in Business Administration from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and a Master’s of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University. In 2006, he earned his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte with his doctoral dissertation on short-term economic forecasts for real estate markets. Christoph Holzmann was appointed Professional Member of RICS in 2009 and regularly lectures at IREBS on real estate investment banking.

Development

Holger Matheis has been a member of the Executive Board of BEOS AG since 2016 and is responsible for Project Development & Construction Management, Property Management, Technical Asset Management, Human Resources and Legal Affairs, as well as the South region, which includes the BEOS offices in Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. Holger Matheis has worked for BEOS since 2006, initially as head of the Hamburg office, later in Cologne and Berlin. He headed the IMMOEBS e.V. working group in Hamburg for two years and was a member of the Executive Board from 2009 to 2015. He studied architecture at the University of Kaiserslautern and worked for various architectural firms after his studies. In 2003, Holger Matheis completed his studies in Real Estate Economics at the European Business School. Holger Matheis is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and lectures at several universities, including IREBS Real Estate Academy, DVFA and HTW Berlin. In addition, he regularly gives lectures and seminars at various institutions and banks.

Transactions

Jan Plückhahn has been a member of the Executive Board of BEOS AG since 2016 and is responsible for Acquisitions & Transactions and the North Region, which includes the BEOS offices in Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne. He joined BEOS AG in 2003 and has worked in various divisions and held numerous roles, including as head of the Hamburg office between 2010 and 2015. Jan Plückhahn holds a degree in architecture and a Master’s of Science in Real Estate Management (REM) from TU Berlin. He is also a lecturer at IREBS Real Estate Academy.

Corporate Solutions, Center of Competence Industrial & Logistics

Hendrik Staiger has been a member of the BEOS AG Executive Board and is responsible for Corporate Solutions and Transactions. He has also headed the Center of Competence Industrial & Logistics since BEOS AG became part of Swiss Life Asset Managers. Hendrik Staiger is also Head of Real Estate Asset Management at Swiss Life Asset Managers Germany. From 2005 to 2016, Staiger was Head of Acquisitions. Prior to this, he spent nine years in project development, including six years as Managing Partner of LINIE Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG, which developed and refurbished high-quality commercial real estate in Berlin. Hendrik Staiger studied physics at TU Berlin and worked as a researcher until 1997. He is CEO of crenet Deutschland e.V. and regularly gives lectures at TU Berlin as part of the university’s Real Estate Management Master's programme, as well as lecturing at the University of Wuppertal, IREBS and DVFA.
