Asset and Portfolio Management

Martin Czaja has worked at BEOS AG as head of Asset Management since 2011 and is responsible for the BEOS special funds. After studying architecture in Hannover, Krakow, St. Petersburg and Delft, Martin Czaja spent two years working as a consultant at Ernst & Young Real Estate GmbH in Munich and Berlin, while also completing a (part-time) Masters degree program in Real Estate Management (REM) at the Technical University of Berlin. Since 2008, he has lectured at the TU-Berlin in their Masters program in REM, with a focus on project development and risk management.

Finance, Risk Management and Compliance

Prior to his appointment to the BEOS AG Board in 2016, Christoph Holzmann served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for five years. He had previously worked in real estate investment banking, financing and special funds at two banks and a capital management company. Holzmann is a graduate of the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and earned an MSc in Real Estate at Georgia State University. In 2006 he completed his doctorate on short-term economic forecasts in real estate markets under Prof. Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte. Holzmann was appointed a Professional Member of the RICS in 2009 and regularly lectures on real estate investment banking at the IREBS.

HR, Organization, Legal, Marketing, Construction

Holger Matheis has worked at BEOS AG since 2006, first as head of the Hamburg office, and later in Cologne and Berlin. He led the IMMOEBS e.V. working group in Hamburg for two years, and sat on its Board from 2009 to 2015. He studied architecture at the University of Kaiserslautern and after graduation worked for various architectural firms. In 2003, Holger Matheis completed the contact studies program in real estate economics at the European Business School. Matheis is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and lectures at several universities, including the IREBS Real Estate Academy, the DVFA, and the HTW Berlin. He also regularly gives talks and seminars at various institutions and banks.

Northern Region and Acquisition

Jan Plückhahn has 16 years of experience in the real estate industry, and has worked for BEOS AG in various departments and positions for more than twelve years. He has headed the Hamburg office of BEOS AG in the past six years. Plückhahn is a graduate in architecture and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Management (REM) from the TU Berlin. He also is a lecturer at the IREBS Real Estate Academy.

Southern Region and Acquisition

Hendrik Staiger has served as Head of Acquisitions at BEOS AG since 2005. Prior to this, he worked in project development for nine years, including six years as Managing Partner of LINE Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG., a company focusing on the development and redevelopment of high-quality commercial properties in Berlin. He had originally studied physics at the Technical University of Berlin and worked in research until 1997. Staiger regularly gives lectures and presentations at the TU Berlin for the Masters program in Real Estate Management, as well as at the University of Wuppertal, the IREBS and the DVFA.
